The unique curve in the Ice Condos property as it joins Lakeshore and the Gardiner was a key factor in the curvilinear design language inspired by Peter Clews (architects Alliance). Almost immediately ICE’s oval organic shape suggested a somewhat Nordic sensibility that quickly began to influence the “look” of both the interior spacing and the landscaping. Comprising three towers and an urban courtyard, ICE is tied together by a green roof canopy that partially encloses and protects the various elements of the project. 12 York St and 14 York St is midway between the ACC and the Rogers Centre. Between them is the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Just a short stroll up York Street are the city’s finest performing arts venues, including the Four Seasons Centre, Roy Thomson Hall, the St. Lawrence Centre, the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts and those two regal ladies of the theatre: the Royal Alex and the Princess of Wales.
Amenities at Ice Condos include: a 24-Hour Cafe that's located on the ground floor, bar and lounge located off the hotel lobby, 2 storey dining area with outdoor terrace located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, business centre, meeting rooms, lounge with full kitchen and wet bar, fitness centre, rooftop restaurant, and infinity pool.
