Waterworks is a 13-storey building located at 505 Richmond Street West with a south view overlooking St. Andrew’s Park. Designed by Diamond & Schmitt Architects, it integrates the historically designated 1932 Art Deco façade with the new condo. The main entrance to the condominium will be from Richmond Street through the restored heritage façade at 505 Richmond Street West. Lobby and amenities have been artfully articulated and designed by Cecconi Simone.
Amenities include lounges, private dining areas, kitchen, fireplace and fitness facilities, all opening onto a landscaped roof terrace designed by Janet Rosenberg Studio. An additional landscaped roof terrace is located on the 14th floor* and a fully-equipped neighbourhood YMCA is accessed by its own lobby on 505 Richmond St West. The YMCA will have a 25m swimming pool, full-size gymnasium, weight and conditioning rooms and community room. At the south side of Waterworks, bordering St. Andrew’s Playground/Park, the original 1932 Great Hall will be retained and converted to a European Food Hall with direct access to the park and by way of a landscaped courtyard off Richmond. The Food Hall will be a Toronto first.
There is an amazing variety of suite types available at Waterworks condos. Cool, contemporary life spaces that exceed the expected in style, convenience and livability with large room sizes and a range of features and finishes you won’t find anywhere else. Most have oversized balconies with unobstructed views overlooking the park and city. All have smooth finish drywall ceilings with pot lights. The bathrooms are, simply stated, sexy. The kitchens are so cool and well equipped you may want to start cooking again.
